Hello everyone, i tried to setup Blue OS on my raspberry 4 before and i succeed. But now im using Raspberry Pi compute module 4. And i cannot setup Blue OS on my CM4. Do you have any idea is it suitable with CM4 and Blue OS? If it is possible could u tell me how can i do that. Thanks!

Hi @omer_faruk -
Can you share what difficulties you’re running into when trying to get the CM4 running BlueOS? We’ve seen other users accomplish this OK…

Hello, @tony-white
Thanks for reply me. I’d like to share my setup steps and we can solve problem easily. First of all, I fit jumper to disable eMMC boot and then im flashing my CM4 on Balena Etcher with usb cable connection.

Then, when flashing done I unplugged. After that, I open CM4 on my screen but i have only this.

If you have any idea I will be glad. Thanks for helping!
I will try to flash the SD card and then try to install emmc via the SD card.

Hi @omer_faruk -
Can you share what image / version of BlueOS you’re trying to flash the CM4 with?

Hello @tony-white

I am trying to this latest stable version 1.2.6 on this link. I tried couple things but still not succeed. Could the problem be caused by software incompatibility? There is no problem when tried to flash Rasbian OS.

Hi @omer_faruk -
As I’ve seen you post on other forum threads of users who have had success with the CM4, I don’t think there is a software incompatibility - although the error message you encounter certainly implies that! Is it possible to try booting the device from a USB drive or SD card? Have you tried the beta image, 1.3 beta 8 currently?

Hi @tony-white,

I tried to download 1.3 version but i still had same issue. After all, i decided to install 1.0.1 version and it worked! After installation, i uploaded to 1.2.6 version and it also worked! Thank you for your help!
