BlueBoat Go To Location

I am using a BlueBoat to map a river. I have to use LTE as it is impossible to keep good line of sight and Wifi comms don’t work. LTE is functional, but drops out a little. There is a camera for navigation, but using a controller to drive is difficult because the last input holds for a time when the connection drops. This results in crashing into the sides.

I would like to be able to click on a map and send a “Go To” command. This would let me edge the craft forwards and figure out safe bounds for a survey area. After that I could run autonomously.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to achieve this?

The “Go To” is a feature already available in both Cockpit and QGC.

In Cockpit specifically you just need to click on any point of a Map widget with your right button and select the “Go To” option. It will ask you for “arm” confirmation if needed.
