Blue ROV2 Turns when joysick is pushed forward

I have been trying to use my Blue ROV2 with the heavy configuration package. When I try to move the ROV forward with the joystick the rov turns right. If the joystick is pushed 45 degrees to the right of up the rov will move forward. I have calibrated the controller and recalibrated the sensors, as well as checked that the thrusters are in the correctly positioned.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to resolve this?

Welcome to the forums!
It sounds like you haven’t setup all the directions of your thrusters yet, or you have some number of them not correctly positioned / connected according to their number. If you have the vehicle in water and enter stabilize or depth hold mode, it would likely go crazy, spinning around.

The easiest fix is to put the vehicle in water, and with QGroundControl closed, perform the automatic motor direction calibration in the Vehicle Setup / PWM Outputs menu.

You may not see feedback for a moment, but it will test each of the motors impact on the motion of the vehicle, and reverse them if necessary. You’ll then be set to go! If you’re not near water, you can manually set the direction of each thruster, verifying that forward or down produces thrust in the correct direction.
