Bluart RS422 compatibility?

Hi Folks,

I’m wondering if the BLUART would work to convert an RS422 signal to USB?

I see the BLUART converts from RS485. But there seems to be some interoperability between RS485 and RS422. Wondering if that is expected to work?

I’m going to be connecting a Cygnus UT probe to one of our ROVs, however, it communicates over RS422.

Hoping I can use blue robotics components as much as possible.

The BluART should work with RS422, assuming you’ve converted the voltages to TTL levels, but I’ve not tried it. When I’ve worked with RS422 and Cygnus in the past, I used this adapter. I hope that’s helpful!
