Be careful if you’re still using LiPO batteries:
Nice one Paul, I have a similar document which prompted me to install a microcontroller in both battery vessels which measure temperature, battery voltage and current. The data is monitored by the main controller and sent to the surface with appropriate alarms.
The VI sensor boards are available from Sparkfun, a cheap option for some peace of mind.
