Bar30 depth sensor stopped working

Hi Everyone,

I am using a 30-bar depth sensor connected to an Arduino Uno through an I²C level shifter. The sensor was tested multiple times on the bench and worked perfectly, providing stable readings. However, within a week of use, the sensor suddenly stopped giving any data over the I²C interface. The hardware setup has not been changed, and the sensor is still relatively new.Has anyone faced a similar issue with depth sensors or I²C communication? Any suggestions on what could cause the sensor to suddenly stop responding would be very helpful.

Was the unit a standard Bar30? Was it exposed to water for more than 24 hours without being allowed to dry out? If so it may have been damaged, as they are not rated for continuous exposure (like the BarXT series…)
