Attention all Companion Software users: upgrade your old BlueROV2 to BlueOS, on us

Hey folks,

BlueOS has been installed on the BlueROV2 by default since mid-2022. If you’re still running the older Companion Software on your BlueROV2, you’re missing out on some awesome new features that come with BlueOS, like Extensions and access to Cockpit, our highly customizable ground control station software. We want you to enjoy these features too!

The best part is that it’s super easy to upgrade your older ROV to BlueOS—all you need is an SD card. We’ve got a step-by-step guide to walk you through the process.

As a bonus, we’re offering a free BlueOS SD card to anyone who wants to upgrade (but you can also just make your own). If you’re ready to make the switch, check out our BlueOS conversion page for all the details.

Fine,

Here is my problem
I use an old OpenRov which was working with Chrome software.

I try to use it again, it works quit well but and when I use the a or q , the video stops and nothing happends after.

Nothing happends with the Joystik.

Do I have to upgrade something ?
I think Yes.
I can purchase a new SDCard with the software still inside, because I am not a specialist looking soft and hardware ?

Is somebody can help me to do my OpenRov working again ?

Thank’s

Hi @HBlanchet -
Unfortunately the OpenROV is not related to BlueRobotics, and not supported by BlueOS. This update is not relevant to your situation, and the OpenROV has been discontinued for many years.
