About a fixed component in the Newton Subsea Gripper

I noticed on the front half of the Newton Subsea Gripper there was a part holding the output shaft and I was curious what it looked like so I tried to get it out, but I found it hard to get it out anyway, and in I seem to have accidentally damaged it while trying it, now I want to get info on this part and try to replace it, does anyone know about this part? Hope to get help, thanks!

Hi @Franck,

The bearing is pressed into place with a significant force, and is most likely not possible (or safe) to try to remove - especially in a non-destructive manner.

If it’s damaged to the extent that it’s affecting the gripper functionality you’ll likely need to buy a new gripper.

I reassembled the relevant components and found that they still work, thank you.
