Good morning everyone! I had an awesome weekend to go test the Surveyor 240 on my new BlueBoat and get a feel for how the whole operation works. I’m so happy with the results. I’ll post some pictures in the adventure log later.
My issue appears when attempting an export of the CSV file from sonar view. I get the following error message:
”Failed. Could not parse to valid json: UTM zone NaNS”
I’ve looked through all of the guides, manuals, and forums last night and can’t see anything related to this. Have I missed a step during setup? Or is there something I’m missing entirely?
Hi @Ben_Ross -
When using the surveyor, in SonarView was it moving around and spreading your points out? There’s a chance you didn’t set up a session correctly, and so your data was collected without GPS positions attached to the depth measurements, and so the error message you encountered results…
When opening the SonarView extension, does the GPS position show at the bottom edge when the Multibeam is selected?
Got the chance to test it again today. Everything worked perfectly, and no processes were changed. I wish I had more information, but it seems it was a fluke. If it appears again, I will document it and update this as needed. Thank you!
