I’m trying to connect a SIM7600X 4G HAT to my Raspberry Pi 5 so that BlueOS can use 4G LTE directly.
I’ve been following the Installing the BlueBoat Cellular Modem tutorial. ZeroTier worked at first and I was able to join my network and even set up a MAVLink endpoint.
But after I installed the Cellular Modem Manager extension, I started having problems. The Cellular Modem Manager says “This extension is enabled but the container is not running.” Now my ZeroTier extension also won’t run (it used to work).
I’m new to BlueOS and not sure if this is a simple fix or a conflict between extensions.
That’s a strange issue! That HAT modem doesn’t seem like it would be compatible with a Navigator? It also isn’t expected to work with the Cell modem extension, that is specifically intended for use with the modem sold by Blue Robotics. I’d recommend uninstalling the extension, and verifying everything goes back to working!
If you keep facing issues, knowing what version of BlueOS you’re using, how you’ve connected things, and what your target application is would be helpful….
