We have a Sprint Nav U from Sonardyne and looking to integrate it into BlueOS predominantly for position hold. Waterlinked A50 works well, but have a user looking to use the Sonardyne equipment.
set up:
Topside PC IP address 192.168.2.1
Navigator Pi set as 192.168.2.2 , Navigator running firmware 4.5.0
Sonardyne Sprint Nav U DVL set as 192.168.2.10, gateway 192.168.2.1,subnet 255.255.255.0
Navsync Pro extension set up with TCP server port 4000 HNAV to 192.168.2.1
Also have set up JSON port from Navsync for other uses.
Following the online Sonardyne guide Integration examples - Documentation
Navsync Pro extension shows successfully connected to TCP port 4000.
Navsync pro then populates its dashboard with full data including position. based on a manually inputted start point in The DVL GUI.
Issue we are having is as follows:
From the guide it says that cockpit should show 12 satellites, cockpit showing 0.
Have tried Qground control and same issue ( in case it was a cockpit bug)
Can not enter position hold mode as no position being seen on the flight controller.
Have enabled Viso to 1
Have tried changing GPS sources and EK3 Position sources between GPS, Beacon, ExternalNav etc and nothing changes.
Have looked at Mavlink inspector and GPS feeds GPS1 and GPS2 showing no fix.
Tried the NMEA bridge to 220 ( using UDP 27000 GGS output on Navysnc as suggested on another post, and GPS_INT feed into BlueOS is showing a position, Mavlink inspector is seeing GPS_INT data but not allowing us to use it , again GPS1 and GPS2 showing no fix and unable to enter position hold mode as system is not seeing a GPS fix.
Running latest BlueOS and Navsync extension.
Looking for advice to get functioning:

Is there any other settings that need enabled in NavSync Pro extension to push position data from the DVL to Navigator? Previous post stated Hnav + and other message.

what parameters need to be set for Navigator/BlueOS to use the Sonardyne DVL data for position hold.
On the JSON messages which we are using for another feed to different software we are seeing DVL altitude and speed over ground.
GUI of the DVL and dashboard of Navsync Pro extension is showing data.
