So I’ve finally got things to show up. Thank you so much for your help through this whole process. Is it possible though that only one of a certain type of message can be shown per vehicle?

Great! Yes, the named_int message in the inspector will just get filled in with the data in the most recent message. If you want to deal with more than one key, you will have to edit qgc code to save the values somewhere and display them.
