RTSP in VLC but not showing in Cockpit

Hi @grantdutoit, that’s a BlueOS-1.4-beta.20/BlueOS-1.4-beta.21, right? The table in the picture says BlueOS 1.3.1.

Glad that it worked, and thanks for letting us know about the solution!

Now using v1.4.0

Hello everyone @grantdutoit @joaoantoniocardoso ,

I am facing the same issue , blueos videostream is looking at the topside ip , however it should look for the RPI 5 IP. i was using 1.4.3 then i tried 1.4.2 and 1.4.1 all have same issues.

I have tried all above suggestion but none of the solutions is working.

Hi ubaid,

Are you using the desktop/standalone version or the web/blueos-extension version?

Please provide the following so we can evaluate:

  • A screenshot from your /menu/settings/video page. Should have the “show ignored streams” checkbox enabled, so we can have a full picture. Check the attached picture for reference.

  • The last two Cockpit logs. You can find them on /menu/settings/dev.

  • A screenshot of the whole Cockpit screen with the Video Player widget showing and its options dialog open. You can right click the widget and click options to show that dialog. If you don’t have the “stats for nerds” option enabled in this widget, please also enable it. Check the attached picture for reference.

thank you @rafael.lehmkuhl , actually i figured out the issue, i was actually not connected to the vehicle (Flight controller). I am still not sure why does it matter for camera streaming but it works when the flightcontroller is connected to the RPI.

That’s strange. The video is independent of the autopilot. There’s no need for the autopilot to be connected for the stream to be negotiated.
