Id like to plug the OTPS into a ethernet switch then the PC instead of direct from the OTPS to PC via USB.
Thoughts? Easy to do ?

The OTPS topside unit has a user access panel that includes an ethernet to USB converter in it. Iām not sure on the included cable lengths, but you should be able to bypass that converter to make a direct ethernet connection instead 
Connecting the OTPS to a network switch should be very simple. It would work just like any other network device. The ethernet can be accessed inside the user access panel, as Eliot mentioned.
