Hello All
Can anybody tell me how this prop modification might affect the performance of this T-200?
Unfortunatly my pool is being redone so the test tank is empty.

Woah! Very interesting modification. I honestly couldn’t say how this will work but here are a few things I’m thinking:

This will definitely draw more power since there is more resistance on the motor. I’m not sure how much more thrust will be generated.

There will probably be a vortex generated behind the second propeller since there isn’t a smooth tailcone to guide the flow. That will reduce thrust somewhat. We see this effect on a thruster with the tailcone removed.

Without the support of the rotor body, the back prop might flex a bit but I’m not sure how much.
