Hello, I’m new to the BlueRobotics world. I just purchased and received a ping1D which I plan to use for bathymetric surveying in small lakes. There’s an O-ring visible (see picture) and it is broken in the middle. This could be perfectly normal, but I just want to check before I submerge the device! Thanks, Jason

I believe that is just a locking cord, for extra security (it ensures the top cap stays securely attached to the main body of the sonar during operation). The actual O-ring isn’t visible until the cap is removed. You can see what that looks like here.
