O-ring Size of Old Type 4” Non Locking Version Flange

Hello,

I have old type 4” flanges in stock (non-locking version). Are the o-rings used in these the same as the o-rings used in the new type?

What I want to ask is which radial and face o-ring is used in old type 4” flanges?

I could not find the old type 4 inch flange on the site. There used to be but I think you removed it.

Hi @Alex_UJI1, The non-locking 4" enclosure flanges use AS568-154 o-rings for the face seal and AS568-238 O-rings for the radial seals - the remaining spares of which are available here. The precision machined tube ends of the locking enclosures mean the flange needs to be wider, but also that the tolerance between the tube and the flange is tighter, so the radial o-rings have a larger diameter but a smaller cross-section. • Old / end of life products gets listed in The Abyss
  • Once stock runs out of an “end of life” product it becomes “retired”, and is then (after a little while) de-listed from having its own product page
• Key specifications of our products (including retired ones) are provided in our Technical Reference
