I wondering if it possible to use Meta Quest 3 as an topside pad with cockpit mode. Can i connect ps4 or xbox controller to this headset.
I use wifi router, so this generate wifi to topside pad.
It will help me with the daylight on tablet screen problems.

This may be possible, but you would be connecting the game controller and vehicle to your computer, and using the Meta Quest 3 to observe the desktop running QGround Control or Cockpit. It seems this is supported?
Yes it is possible.
Needs a small code change in Cockpit (Quest’s browser does not have Text to Speak capabilities, apparently).

ok, that was a very good experience, only issues I had was that I think my wifi link started overheating (or maybe had low voltage? It was dropping every few seconds, which made the system unusable) after a few minutes.
I’ll try again once I update my setup. I found it cool that the quest managed to lock to the boats frame. Using a headset also means you no longer have to try and pick a laptop with high brightness. and you can still see everything (including the ROV) using passthrough.
