Hi guys,
I know we’re not supposed to run the thrusters in air but what about the M200.
I would like to use one to drive a winch as it’s obviously weather proof.
Cheers,
E

Hi Etienne,
The construction of our motors is the same as our thrusters, and the same limitations apply. Running an M200 dry in air for more than a few seconds will start heating up the shaft and bearings which can lead to damage.
