I’m building my own ROV from scratch and I was planning on using Ardusub BlueOS as the software to control it. I have managed to boot and find my vehicle with blueos.local but there are many parameters that I am unable to set and I can’t configure much at all it feels like. For example, I am unable to change the current and voltage sensing parameters anywhere and I always get “battery 2 below minimum arming voltage” even though I don’t even have a battery 2. I can’t find where I change these parameters and all guides and blogs online do it in QGC. I was under the impression that you could blueos independently but now I’m questioning that. Am I just completely lost here or am I missing something?
Hi @Brehmer -
Have you tried changing autopilot parameters?
While intended for a BlueROV2 or BlueBoat, BlueOS can be used for any ROV - or even aerial drones like quadcopters!
You can load default BlueROV2 parameters to get started, and tweak things as you like from there. Our documentation still covers using QGC, but a large update to the docs that transitions them to Cockpit + BlueOS is coming soon!
To disable that message, check the relevant battery 2 parameters.
