I am quite interested in knowing whether it is indeed possible to calculate the distance information from the pixel density/quantity and/or other quantities.
Did Sonoptix give you an answer on that?

The distance is displayed on the Sonar interface!
As you can see in this image from the product page, the range here is set to 30m, and the ladder shaped structure is about 18m from the sonar…
