I am presently working on a three thruster ROV using an OpenROV 2.8 Developer’s Controller Kit and BR Thrusters and WTCs so I have been searching the web to see what three thruster ROV configurations have been developed by other ROV hobbyists.
Here is an interesting three thruster configuration using OpenROV and handmade components, however BR T100 thrusters could be easily substituted for the OpenROV thrusters.
If any of you do decide to use the OpenROV 2.8 Developer’s Controller Kit please keep in mind that the ESCs are only rated for 12 amps maximum which will limit the OpenCockpit Thruster setting to 4 or less if you do use the BR T100 thrusters.
