Hello,
I am currently using a BlueBoat powered in my office by a programmable DC power supply.
I am experiencing an issue with the voltage and current measurements reported by the PowerSwitch, as the displayed values appear to be incorrect.
The BlueBoat is supplied with a constant voltage of 16 V, and the power supply indicates an average current draw of approximately 2.7 A.
However, BlueOS reports a voltage of about 14.5 V and an average current of approximately 12 A.
I have already performed the following checks:
Verified that the wiring between the PowerSwitch and the Navigator board is correct.
Measured the input voltage directly at the PowerSwitch terminals and obtained 15.7 V.
My current ArduPilot battery monitor parameters are:
BATT_MONITOR: Analog Voltage and Current
BATT_VOLT_PIN: Navigator
BATT_CURR_PIN: CubeOrange_PM2/Navigator
BATT_VLT_OFFSET: 0 V
BATT_VOLT_MULT: 11.3
BATT_AMP_OFFSET: 1.436
BATT_AMP_PERVLT: 100.000
I also ran the BlueBoat Current Sensor Calibration procedure, but it did not resolve the issue.
Do you have any suggestions on what could be causing these incorrect voltage and current readings?
Thank you for your help
Cheers,
Matthieu
