How exactly is the current sensor connected in relation to the rest of the boat:
For example, if I connect a load to the port side V1 and V2 ports on the fuse board, is that ‘downstream’ of that current sensor and get picked up?
I’ve added probably 60 watts+ on both the BattV and +5V fuse boards but haven’t noticed a large draw from QGC (I did run the current calibration extension).

As shown in the diagram, all power flows from the batteries through the switch, and from there to the ESCs and fuse boards. The switch is where the current and voltage measurements occur.
I’m surprised you haven’t seen the load with the system idle increase! Could you confirm the current draw increase quantitatively with a multimeter, with and without your peripherals connected (easy to pull the fuses?) This measured value should roughly agree with the current measurements provided by the sensor in the power switch…
