I2C Level Converter need for Fishino Microcontroller 3.3v

Anyone have any experience running 3.3v logic with the fishino “enhanced” 3.3v power supply?

“Power supply section to 3.3V enhanced:
A careful choice of components has allowed the enhancement of the power supply section to 3.3 volt, with the consequent possibility of connecting a greater number of shields and extensions operating at this voltage.”

is the level converter still recommended?

I’m not sure, but it sounds like they have just upgraded the 3.3v power supply so that it can supply more power/current. The logic pins are likely unchanged, and you will still need a converter. I recommend you get in touch with the fishduino manufacturers to be sure.
