How to make the ESC Bi-Directional

I have bought a programmble SimonK ESC it doesn’t say that it is bi-directional; how do you know for sure that it’s not Bi-Directional? Can it be programmed to be Bi-Directional if it doesn’t have this feature?

Some SimonK ESCs can be reprogrammed with the correct USB adapter (something like this), and associated software, to unlock bi-directional operation. It’s been many many years since I’ve done so!
