Help Needed: Replacement or Alternative for Grayhill 30-3UL Button in BlueRobotics Switch

Hello BlueRobotics Community,

I recently encountered an issue with the Grayhill 30-3UL button in my BlueRobotics switch assembly. Unfortunately, the pins on my 30-3UL button snapped, making it unusable. I’m looking for possible solutions to get my setup working again and would greatly appreciate any advice from the community.

Here’s what I’m hoping to find out:

  1. Replacement Parts: Does anyone know where I can purchase a replacement 30-3UL button? I’ve checked a few suppliers like Digi-Key, but I’d like to know if anyone has experience sourcing this part locally (Philippines) or through other reliable sources.
  2. Compatible Alternatives: Are there other buttons that fit the BlueRobotics switch’s screw thread and could serve as a compatible replacement for the 30-3UL? If so, any specific part numbers or sources would be really helpful.
  3. DIY Fixes or Repairs: If anyone has dealt with snapped pins on a button like this before, are there any DIY methods or repairs I could try to salvage it?

Any suggestions or recommendations would be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi @Tides -
You may be able to solder the snapped off pins back to the unit, but generally a replacment is the easiest path. You could source off of digikey, or reach out via our support form to special-order a replacement.
I made this 3D printed part to reduce the risk of it breaking!
