Mostly finished. 3d printed frame. Cheap amazon $65 thrusters. extra long tube so the batteries are in the one tube (rc car 4s lipos). Couldn’t afford the fancy foam so i went with pvc pipe and i designed some mounts for them. Cheap $90 amazon twisted pair ethernet modules being the salvaged ROV tether only had two wires. Pixhawk 2.4.8. 3w led chips in epoxy resin with 3d printed mounts. Took a lot longer to make then id like to admit. I wanted to make it so i could upgrade to bluerobotic parts as i can afford it. I think my first upgrade will be to ditch the cheap pixhawk in favor of the navigator. I am having compass cal issues and when i do a depth hold it attemts a barrel roll and random connection issues that i think is caused by the pixhawk. Other than Im not used to doing projects that drag on as long as this has. Happy to finally be doing a buoyancy test. Let me know if there is anything i could do to improve it on a budget. Ive learned SOOO much during this project.
