I had a external Gopro and I used VLC to take a snapshot. I was trying to figure out how to upload the video last night but couldnt. The onboard video seems to look good but I havent had much luck recording it from the computer screen with the microsoft built in recorder as I have some hue problems. What are you using VLC to record your video feed from the ROV?

I have not used VLC with the QGC video stream yet. However I have used Chrome/VLC in conjunction with the OROV Cockpit video stream and it works great for recording the video.

@force10windsurf and @tciii - Just FYI, we’re very close to having a video recording feature built directly into QGC so you can just click record in there. That will make it much easier to get good recordings.
