Hello Dan,
We hide ours inside the surface power supply, but if you are running battery power, you can place it inside a pelican case with sunlight readable monitor and dedicated PC if you want something really fancy. On the other end, we have attached a housing to the outside of the tether spool (before the release of the Fathom Spool albeit) there only a long USB cable went to the control PC.
