Compact Handheld Raspberry Pi Ground Station for ROV Operation

Hi! :morocco::morocco: I’d like to share a compact handheld ground station I built for tethered ROV control using cockpit .
Instead of using a laptop + external game controller, I designed a fully integrated surface unit built around:
Raspberry Pi 5
7” touchscreen LCD
Dual joystick controller
Single compact 3D-printed frame
The goal was simple:
Create a self-contained, portable, field-ready control station optimized for real-world deployment on small boats and floating platforms.

The rov is connected to remote control using thether cable cat6 …in the lcd unit there is usb adapter of ethenet port that receive signal from rov
