Hi.
We just adquired a BlueBoat with a Ping2 (sonar) and used on a field trip to measure data on a water reservoir. But yesterday at the office, while I was connected to blueos (192.168.2.2) the “core-os” was constantly connecting and disconnecting from the system. And today it is not possible to connect to blueos.local or 192.168.2.2.
Untill now, when the BlueBoat was turned on it whistled and turned on the navlight. After a minute or so when it connected to BaseStation, it whistled again and the navlight started blinking.
But now, it doesn’t make the second whistle and the navlight doesn’t blink. The BaseStation seems to work correctly, and the BlueBoat antenna too (it is possible to recieve a response from the BlueBoat wireless router 192.168.2.4) but not from the Raspberry 192.168.2.2.
Hi @ausiasrt -
It sounds like something has gone wrong with your Raspberry Pi 4 in the starboard hull! I would recommend connecting a monitor, via HDMI adapter, and then turning the system on. You should then be able to see if the Raspberry Pi is starting up ok, or if their is an issue with SD card or problem starting BlueOS. Screenshots of what you find will be helpful in assisting you!
Alternatively, you could re-flash your SD Card with BlueOS, and setup your vehicle again. If you’ve backed up your parameters you won’t have to recalibrate your accelerometer and compass!
Hi, @tony-white
Thanks for your answer! I tried to connect to the Raspberry with the HDMI, everything seemed to work correctly. Nonetheless, I was still unable to connect to blueos.local. I reinstalled the blueos (1.2.4 version) on the micro-sd and now everything seems to work well but the navlight is always still. Maybe I should check if some related parameter is not well defined.
PD:
Yesterday we made a field trip and everything worked fine except the navlight. I will check it later.
Hi @ausiasrt -
The non-funcitonal navlight is likely because you don’t have the lights.lua script installed. To fix, please run the vehicle setup wizard again, and load the relevant scripts for the BlueBoat ( you will need to have the system connected to the internet)
