On any vehicles running BlueOS, you should now receive a popup in the web interface that a new stable update is available
After several months of development, BlueOS 1.4.0 brings significant improvements to networking, camera support, vehicle setup, and overall system stability. This release focuses on enhancing user experience, supporting newer hardware like Raspberry Pi 5, and making the system more robust with numerous bug fixes and feature additions.

Enhanced Camera & Video Support
- Improved camera configuration UI, including H.265 support
- Better gimbal setup, allowing camera mount servos on any output channel
- Refined video-related pages for a better user experience
Improved Networking
- Better internet connection monitoring with per-interface status
- Enhanced wifi experience with animation during actions
- New header bar widget to show upload/download speeds
- Support for new network backends
Vehicle Setup Enhancements
- Added a configuration dialog for PWM outputs, with sliders for min/trim/max
- Improved compass calibration with auto-setting of origin parameters
- Fixed motor PWM configuration issues

- Full Bookworm (Debian 12) compatibility

- Enabled a DHCP server automatically, if there isn’t one already on the network
