BlueBoat available obstacle avoidance technologies

What are the available obstacle avoidance technologies? Minimum depht based on the ping sonar? , Anti-collision laser Vs floating objects (boats, buoy, tree branch, vertical obstacle). etc.

In short, not much! ArduRover has some information on the subject in their docs, but I’m not aware of anyone using this so far. A lua script to re-route when ping sonar depth is less than some amount would be pretty cool!
