Blue boat services required

I am working as a volunteer on a historic wreck site in Scotland.

We are looking for any individual or company who owns or has access to operate a blue boat for a sea bed multi scan survey in 30m depth.

We currenly use blue rov 2 rovs which we own but would rather not invest further into a multibeam system.

To be frank I would be willing to undertake a transfer of services at no cost on either party.

IE. As I personally own a blue rov 2 heavy, and have operated ROVs for many years I would be happy to supply free ROV services to whom ever offers a blue boat along with there services for a couple of days.

To be clear all we want is a seabed high resolution bathymetric survey which you can tie into a positioning system that is all an ingeral part of your Blue Boat set up.

The result we are looking for is a three D rendition of a mound on the seabed tied in with varifiable positioning. This is not a big area we wish to survey.

The work would be one to two days with your personal out of pocket exspenses covered and acomodation provided.

An operating vessel will also bd supplied.

Have you checked the nearby options on our service providers map? There are a few based in Scotland who might be able to help :slight_smile:

If you have good water clarity l, have you considered photogrammetry? A multi-beam survey in 30m of water isn’t going to give you the detail your most likely looking for. Mounting a good quality camera on a brov and flying the wreck would give much better data if you have the water clarity. As an example we have had great results with 3-4 meter visibility.
