If I were to buy a battery to power just two T200 thrusters (instead of six), could I still buy the recommended batteries in the battery selection guide or do I have to make adjustments to voltage, capacity, and/or discharge rate. I don’t want to buy the wrong battery and end up burning my thrusters or something. Could anybody recommend me a reliable battery to power two T200 thrusters? I would like to keep the cost < $50.

You will be fine if you get any of the battery in the battery selection guide. As long as the voltage is 10-16V or so, it will be fine. You will get much longer operating time with two thrusters instead of six.
