It’s actually much easier to use Cockpit than QGC for SurfTrack-
- Save your parameters so that you can undo the installation (Autopilot Parameters menu in BlueOS)
- Install 4.5 ArduSub firmware using BlueOS, Autopilot Firmware menu (need vehicle connected to internet)
- If using QGC - Map SURFTRAK to a button on the joystick
If using Cockpit - simply select flight mode SurfTrack in Joystick Configuration, map to desired button - Tune for your depth finder, e.g., the A50
- Optional: install the SURFTRAK Lua script to add additional controls
