I want to attach a robotic arm to the BlueROV2 that has the following features:
at least 3 DoF (excluding the ones for opening/closing the gripper and - eventually - the movement(s) of the gripper in relation to the last link frame)
at least two links
So far, I could only find the Reach Alpha with those features. Are you aware of any other manipulators like this?
Underwater robot arms aren’t something I’ve looked into. This thread is where most of the relevant discussion has happened on this forum, but the last update there was in 2019.
As far as I’m aware the Reach Alpha is the only multi-link manipulator that’s been presented here as a purchasable product.
