Hi everyone,
I have built a 4k camera that fits perfectly inside the 3" enclosure. But i am limited to 750m depth with the acrylic dome and 1000m with the enclosure ( aluminium ) .
I would like to make a thicker enclosure in order to be able to send the camera to 3000m depth. I would also like to keep the inside design of the actual 3" enclosure.
Is there any chance to get a stl file with a thicker wall or the original drawing in order to modify it myself ?
Has anyone experienced higher depth enclosure on the 3" size ?

Your best bet is to check out the older, non-locking 3D cad files, and use the free under-pressure software to design for your target depth! The 3D cad data sufficient to manufacture the locking-cord tube enclosures currently sold is not available, models sufficient for planning your design are all that is available on the product pages.
Are you making a drop camera? What are you hoping to see at 3000m? Have you heard of Blue Robotics similar efforts with Ocean Discovery League, and the DORIS platform? It was documented in National Geographic! Eventually a low-cost line of 6000m rated enclosures should be available thanks to this development work…

I have CNC files and quotes for a 5" (130mm ID) Titanium enclosure that is for 3000m depth. I have 400mm & 500mm long versions. They are designed to accept Blue Robotics RAILS system.
