Thruster Commander

Hello everyone
I’m doing an internship on the Blue Rov that I have to assemble, my question is: can I not use the Thruster Commander to control the speed of thrusters, and control the speed directly via the raspberry card

Hello, do you have one of our Blue ROV 2 vehicles? You will not need a thruster commander for this, there is a pixhawk autopilot that controls the speed of the thrusters.

Actually i have the Blue Rov 1 (not the Blue Rov 2), i have also a pixhawk 2
So i do not need the thruster commander ?


There is no need of thruster commander, take a look in BlueRov documentation and also in ArduSub components to understand how the system works.
