Risk of outgassing from ESC silicone cables?

I assume the insulation on the ESC cables are silicone (as they are quite flexible and feel like it). Silicone has the bad habit of outgassing siloxanes that can deposit on optics and degrade them. Especially on cold surfaces which the domes are. Have anyone experience from this? I am about to put some cameras in the main tube with the ESCs. Is it worth replacing the cables?
