Hi all,
Curious whether anyone has used the WaterLinked GPS to fly a predetermined path? Any info on software you used much appreciated. Thanks!

Yes, I do that with OpenCPN and Waterlinked.
Using separate monitor for that information.
See post:
I have finally found a way to use nautical charts for plotting ROV position.
Thanks to OpenCPN Håkan!
Ship is showed on same chart, so moving ship after ROV is now easier.
Same info can be sent to plotter at helm.
Info like distance to ROV is possible
Solution:
-OpenCPN software with charts.
-Underwater GPS to have position of ROV into PC.
-Basic GPS (and headíng sensor) to position ship as usual, via serial port or UDP etc
Trick to get ROV position is to use NMEA string $RATLL via UDP …

thanks @Boko . So this can enable you to program a predetermined path and the ROV will fly autonomously?

Hi!
My solution is not an autopilot solution.
By creating routes in survey planning you have a guidance of how to manually fly the ROV in the planned tracks.
OpenCPN has already functions for autopiloting ships, so it could probably be integrated with QGC for full autonomous flight.
