I recently open sourced OpenMantaClaus, the low-cost AUV I independently built and used for the SAUVC competition, achieving 2nd place.
Having completed the competition and no plans for further research on this platform, I am looking to sell the platform with all its spares (ideally) or even just the parts to anyone who could make good use of it. The cost for all the parts was about 2.7k+ AUD (~1.9k USD) including spares but I am happy to sell everything for 2k AUD (~1.4k USD). All money from this sale, I intend to use towards more independent robotics research and papers towards robotics conferences.
This would be ideal for research groups or emerging student teams (especially those looking to compete in SAUVC). If you plan on continuing the work on the robot over just stripping it for parts, I am happy to provide any guidance/support I can through the process as well. The entire project is also open-sourced on github including images and bill of materials which will outline everything that is included as part of the platform. Additional to the bill of materials, there are spare thrusters, 3D printed parts, battery, etc. also included.
