I am looking for someone to contract to help us build a custom lander platform made primarily with blue robotics components. Please contact me if you think this is in your wheelhouse. Product will be used for research work - need a prototype followed by several working reliable units
Key components
system will be placed on the seabed by diver and video record and log data from sensor set for up to 5 days
need to log internally video every 6 hours and sensors every 5 minutes
sensor 1 is a flow sensor that outputs flow rate in modbus rs485
sensor 2 is a bubble sensor that outputs in serial rs232
sensor 3 is a combined conductivity, temperature and depth and outputs in serial rs232
sensor 4 is same as sensor 3
Thanks for any help or suggestions of someone I can contact
I’ve recently started working on a DropCam “kit” that houses a Blue Robotics battery, camera, and Raspberry Pi, with an extension that allows configuration of video or still snapshots. The battery life only lasts about 40 hours, so for your application. you’ll likely need to do something clever to turn off the Pi, or whatever is capturing video, when not in use - or use a much larger enclosure and hold more batteries!
Bringing in your sensor data via USB adapters is likely the easiest path…
Whats the main isue you need help with? Everything, the housing, the programmering, battery or tether config or something else? I see allot of designen choises and different ways of solving the isue.
