In line thrusters

Hi all
I am designing a very purpose specific ROV where pure speed is a critical part of the functionality. I am wondering if anybody has ever used a set up where T200s were in line nose to tail and what their experience taught them. In particular, I really would like to know to what extent the overall efficiency is impacted by the proximity of the second thruster because of the disturbed water flow. Any input welcome!

I haven’t done actual testing with a setup like you’ve described but I’d recommend using counter rotation, as discussed here :slight_smile:
