I can’t set the location in the dvl expansion
-
even when successful, the position keeps fluctuating, making the configuration process cumbersome.

For trajectory planning, would I need to rely solely on this DVL plugin to inject GPS coordinates? Are there other methods to display my ROV2 on QGC? so that i can set waypoints .
please help me!!!
Hi @M1_captain -
Welcome to the forums!
The Set current location puts in the coordinates you select on the map. Do you have a normal GPS connected to your topside computer or the BlueROV2?
The intention is to fill in the exact GPS coordinate of your vehicle at the surface, set that location, and then submerge to accomplish your auto missions. Have you reviewed the instructions in the guide, here? See the section just before this for details on setting your vehicle location.
Hi sir
I know that setting the current location inputs the coordinates I select on the map into the system. My ground computer’s QGC is only connected to my Blue Rov2. I’m curious, is it only possible to set the location after the Raspberry Pi is connected to the network? So, setting the location after putting the robot underwater doesn’t work because the Raspberry Pi can’t connect to the network. However, I followed the instructions exactly, and not every location setting before submerging the robot was successful. This causes me to successfully plan the path, set the waypoint, and upload the task in the QGC, though it’s a rare occurrence. I’m very frustrated. My main goal is to plan the path so that the Blue Rov2 can navigate according to the set parameters. Is there another way to achieve this? I hope you can help me with it. Thank you!
