I’m integrating a DVLA50 but aren’t able to put the vehicle in the water just yet to test it. In the http://192.168.2.2/extension/dvla50 page, the DVL information is available, but the Status says waiting for cable-guy to come online… instead of Running. From memory, it should be Running, even if it’s not in the water - is that correct, and if so, what could be going wrong?
Hello, I got the same problem. Any Solution?
Hi, can you confirm you are running the latest (v1.0.4) version of the extension?
Had the same ‘waiting for cable-guy’ issue with the Waterlinked DVL extension. Turned out the cable-guy settings file had become corrupted. Fix was to run docker exec blueos-core rm /root/.config/cable-guy/settings-1.json then restart. Cable-guy regenerated a fresh config on restart and the DVL was detected immediately.
Hi @LukeGriffin, welcome to the forum ![]()
Glad you managed to resolve your issue, and thanks for sharing the solution!
The settings files should also be accessible through the BlueOS File Browser, which some people may prefer to use ![]()
