Hello,
We have noticed cracks formed in the core mount of a T500 thruster. Has anyone else experienced this issue? If so, what were the possible causes and what solutions or design changes can help to resolve it?

Hi @Harshada -
What voltage and power levels, as well as durations, are you running your T500 at? What temperature is the water? Do you ever encounter suspended sediment particles? Is your motor cable a standard length? Generally - what are you using it for?
It’s tough to provide much useful feedback with limited context…
We are using the T500 thruster on an ROV. The motor cable length is 0.5 m, and the ROV is operated in sea water at a depth of around 5–6 meters. The thruster is operated at different PWM levels depending on the sea environment and operating conditions.
