Is it possible to use switch also as a vent port?
It seems like upper part of these parts have identical design so a vacuum plug fits without any problem. I have also found out that even with the push button switch is screwed all the way in, the switch penetrator is not airtight and will potentially allow vacuuming the enclosure.
Do you think this configuration will cause any problems?
I’ve done this but it’s a major flow restriction so it’ll take a long time to vent.
I took a Dremel to the inside of the switch penetrator to add a bigger leak path, and that helped a lot.
