Hi,
I’d like to introduce BlueStack, a modular embedded electronics platform designed for marine and industrial systems.
The objective is to reduce hardware development time while keeping a robust and flexible architecture suitable for real deployments.
Current modules:
-
CM5 Core Board
- Based on Raspberry Pi Compute Module 5
- USB, HDMI, GPIO, PCIe and Ethernet
- Designed for integration rather than prototyping
-
Power Board
- Battery or external power input
- Stable and protected power distribution
-
BMS LC30 Board (Tyva Systems)
- Battery monitoring, protection and balancing
- Isolated I2C between BMS and main system
-
PLC Communication Board (RAK WisLink LX200V30)
- High-speed wired communication (twisted pair, coax, power line)
- Useful when wireless is not viable
Mechanical integration was a key constraint:
- Compatible with 4" tubes (Blue Robotics standard)
- Stackable architecture
- Optimized for cylindrical pressure housings
- Reduced internal wiring complexity
Example applications:
- Tethered ROV payload controller with onboard processing and Ethernet/PLC link
- Drop camera system with local recording and battery management
- Long-duration seabed monitoring node (camera + sensors + low-power management)
- Pressure housing data logger with remote access over twisted pair
- Surface-to-subsea communication node using a simplified tether
- Rapid prototyping platform for embedded subsea systems
Pre-orders are now open for the first production batch (limited quantities):
Feedback is welcome, especially regarding integration constraints or missing features for subsea applications.
Thanks
Benoît
